Points Of View
I opened Bearblog today and find out that the Halloween is coming. This is not a most famous holiday in China, but it becomes more known to people these years.
In China, most people don't believe in Gods or ghosts. We recieve a materialistic education. Of course there are churches and christians but their numbers are small. Out of curiosity, I tried to read the Bible when I was in college. I even went to a church once a week, hearing fathers talk about the Bible and how Jesus saved us.
People there were nice and kind. They were warm-hearted and accepted you whether you believe in God or not. There was a time that I tried so hard convincing myself that God does exist, but it turned out that I just didn't believe it deep down. A few years later after I read more books, I accept the idea that human scoiety exists and develops because people believe in "common ideas", such as nations, companies, markets and everything else. This point of view really convinces me.
Years later, I realized that it doesn't really matter what others believe in. Because life is simply a matter of perspective. Therefore, I understand how different points of view can reshape a person. From the right wing to the left wing, different points of view have already shaped me. I still expect more.
